Here at Woot we like to stay abreast of current events and issues that may affect you, our loyal-despite-being-perpetually-disgruntled audience. This weekend we sat down with Staff Writers Scott Lydon and Randy Cleveland to get a quick take on some of the issues in the news.
Unfortunately, since it was the weekend, the only way to reach either of them was extremely late Sunday night via online gaming. We reached Randy through XboxLive and discovered his personality is slightly different when he’s not in the office; we found Scott on the Playstation Network.
Question 1: Do you feel the US should intervene more directly to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons?
Randy: dude is that a game? that sounds friggin awesome. its going to be the most epic FPS in the history of gaming! i cannot wait to pre-order!

Randy: KAWAIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!! ^_^;;;;; plus toyota is teh sux0r its probabyl made by SONY, which stands for SUX OH NO, YEAH b/c all the stupid fanboys are saying “oh noes my ps3 is a brick!” and i am busy playing COD: MW2 and saying “yeah” as in “yeah, it is a brick. a brick of S***!” xbox 4 life!
Question 3: Were the Winter Olympics thrilling, or has the event lost some of its luster in recent years?
Randy: i dont know about u but the only thing that can pull me away from a marathon L4D2 Scavenger session is the women’s ice dancing medal round.
